The Friday Harbor Film Festival is only two weeks away, from Nov. 3-5. This year’s line up features over 40 documentary films in just three days. Visit www.fhff.org to view the 2017 film trailers and like the festival’s Facebook page for updates.
Stop by the office for a program — published with the support of over 100 of our local merchants — and to purchase tickets by cash, check or credit card. The office is at 10 First St. in Friday Harbor. Buy them online, too, at www.fhff.org/purchase-tickets or through the San Juan Community Theatre box office at tickets.sjctheatre.org.
FHFF ticket prices are among the lowest cost admission of any regional film festival. Tickets may be purchased per single film for $12 each; in packages of five films for $55 or 10 films for $100. The best value is an-all access wristband for $150, which gives admission to all films and special events, including the opening night filmmaker’s gala. Be a part of the team that makes the festival happen. There are openings to volunteer for lead at Isle Seat Theater and Brickworks, office and hospitality center, various shifts available at one of the six venues, serving at the opening night gala, or as a master of ceremonies. Contribute a three-hour shift, a day, or longer. Receive festival passes, logo wear and more. All volunteers automatically become members of the Friday Harbor Film Society, which gives them access to view any festival film, screened over the past five years, for free. The festival would not be possible without volunteer support.
