San Juan Island EMS will be conducting an Emergency Medical Technician course beginning Jan. 4. Classes will be held each Wednesday night and all day Saturday through May 6.

Interested full-time residents of San Juan Island are invited to investigate this opportunity at www.sanjuanems.org, where they can find detailed information and the necessary paperwork. Applications are available online or can be picked up at the EMS building at 1079 Spring Street. Applications must be completed and turned in by 5 p.m. on Dec. 2.

San Juan Island EMS is a service of the San Juan County Public Hospital District No. 1 and operates a nationally accredited 911 response and transport program.
