The Town of Friday Harbor celebrated its second annual Arbor Day on Thursday, April 4. The public was invited to join in recognizing the event. Mayor Farhad Ghatan issued a proclamation for Arbor Day during the town council meeting and the parks department planted an Easter Red Bud on Argyle Avenue near the county fairgrounds immediately following.
