The last 18 months have been a very tough time to be running a school district. The San Juan Island School District has been fortunate to have leaders and staff who are able to adapt to this new reality of co-existing with Covid.

Schools are the backbone of communities, especially small island communities like ours. To maintain the quality and integrity of our schools, we need to continue to support them as we have in the past.

Please join us on Feb. 8 and vote yes for the renewal of the Maintenance and Operations levy (now called Educational Programs and Operations levy) for the San Juan Island School District.
