Kudos to Bob Distler for his letter to the editor Re: Fall Ferries, Oct. 23. Those of us who are frequent travelers on the Washington State Ferries commiserate, especially when we see Tim Eyman yet again in his role of Complainer in Chief of all tax proposals to improve the transportation infrastructure of our state. His efforts impact all of us in the San Juan Islands because of our dependence on the ferries. As Mr. Distler points out, we need more state budget funds, not less to improve WSF service. Please vote NO to reject I-976.
