The San Juan Public Schools Foundation would like to extend its sincere thanks to the Honeywell Charitable Fund of the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region (Virginia) for its $15,000 grant on behalf of our island children. The fund was created in 2013 by Nancy and Dave Honeywell to support their many charitable interests.

The Honeywells’ generosity will allow the STEM curriculum to grow and flourish in our elementary school. Even our youngest students now have access to a greenhouse, coding kits, 3D printing options, and other important STEM materials and activities that will help prepare them for the 21st century.
