Abby Finney was my banker when she worked in Friday Harbor. More importantly, she was a vibrant, intelligent, effervescent, highly ethical and beloved island resident. I don’t care that her husband Eric Kulp is bipolar, is “…ashamed of what he did,” or the maximum sentence in his situation is 220 months. He assaulted and murdered her in cold blood. For him to be out on the streets again in under 16 years is wrong, wrong, wrong.

He should be locked up for the rest of his life.
