Having lived on San Juan Island for 11 years, I can’t think of a time when the ferries have been more messed up. Every day I get multiple email alerts describing the delays of the ferries. I’d like to make a suggestion: If they can’t find a new propeller for the Yakima, instead of sending alerts telling me the ferries are running 20-45 minutes late, send me alerts when they are running on time so I can better plan my day.
