Rehearsals are under way, but it's not too late to be part of a Independence Day tradition.

The Friday Harbor Fourth of July Community Marching Band, sponsored by King's Market, seeks musicians of any age or skill level to join the band and take part in the upcoming parade.

Rehearsals are June 23, June 25 and June 27, at the county Fairgrounds 4-H building (behind the main exhibit hall), with final rehearsals June 30 and July 2 in the Friday Harbor High School Band room.

For more info, questions or to pick up sheet music for rehearsal, contact Chris Bevens, 378-5023.
