Pod Nods begin June 28 at Whale Museum

Pod Nods return to The Whale Museum for four nights of marine science adventures this summer: June 28, July 5, 11, and 25.

These popular “pajama party” sleepovers in the museum for children ages 5-9 will be led by a museum educator, with assistance from other adult professionals and students. Youth participants will learn to value whales and their environment through art projects, science labs, music, games, and the traditional flashlight tour of the exhibit hall.

Each Pod Nod will begin at 6:30 p.m., with pick-up the next morning at 8:30 a.m. A bedtime snack and light breakfast are included.

For more information or to register, call The Whale Museum, 378-4710 ext. 23, or e-mail cindy@whalemuseum.org. Pre-registration is required.
