DVD release party, showing of 'The Whale', Dec. 4

The Whale Museum is sponsoring a special showing of the film "The Whale" at the Grange Hall, Tuesday, Dec. 4, beginning at 5 p.m.
The showing of the film kicks off a reception to meet its producers, Suzanne Chisholm and Michael Parfit; the movie starts at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $15, and includes snacks and beverages.
The Whale Museum will host a DVD Release Party of the movie following its showing at the Grange Hall, with Chisolm and Parfit on hand to sign copies of the DVD. The museum will be taking pre-sale orders for the DVD, which is slated to be released in the U.S. on Dec. 4. Price of the DVD is $29.95.
The producers are donating proceeds from the sale of movie tickets and the DVD to help support the museum's Soundwatch Boater Education program.
