Spirit of Halloween to rise in harmony

October 18, 2012 · Updated 4:09 PM

Where would opera be without a bit of murder, madness and mayhem, or Halloween, for that matter?

On Saturday, Oct. 27, all of the above come together as the Puget Sound Concert Opera  gets downright spooky at Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church, 425 Spring St., 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The peformance features Halloween-inspired arias, scenes and songs, witches, ghosts and one very devilish visitor; PSCO Artistic Director Regin Thomas will provide commentary for the performance. For info, visit the PSCO website, www.pugetsoundconcertopera.org.
