Hear author Caryl Sherpa read from “I Taste Fire, Earth, Rain: Elements of a Life With a Sherpa” and talk about her experiences in Nepal on Friday, Dec. 2, 7 - 8 p.m. at Griffin Bay Bookstore.

Her book has been described as “an inspiring story of love, cultural exploration, the importance of place, finding one's faith, and the revelation that in the Himalaya, anything is possible.”
