Bill and Rita Ament and more than 70 local island performers, ages two through 75, will entertain audiences in the 27th annual celebration of dance, Saturday, June 18, 7 p.m. at the San Juan Community Theatre.

Watch children dance in their first stage debuts and young ballerinas in tutus and sequins and tap dancers making music with their feet to the rhythm of “Mack The Knife”.

Clap your hands and shuffle your feet to the old favorite, “Put A Little Love In Your Heart.”

There will be a new hip hop routine of Zumbatomic dancers and you can dance along too.

The Island Stompers will grin and yelp as they move with lightning fast steps. There will be more quick stomping and twirling of costumes by the Monarca dancers.

The Aments guarantee that the traditional Dance Happy show will make you laugh, cry, giggle, smile and cheer.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $8 for students and children and $5 for student rush at the door.

The event is sponsored by VanderYacht and Friday Harbor Drug.
