On Nov. 7, all World War II veterans, spouses, widows and widowers will be honored by American Legion Post 163 as guests of the club.

Past commander Karl Mueller, event chairman, said two tickets will be given to each honoree. A reading of the names of all WWII members who have passed away will be read during the evening program by Legion personnel.

This will be the second salute to these local legionnaires. The event was inaugurated last year by Mueller and Frank Miner.

The cost for members who served in subsequent conflicts (and their guests) will be $15 each. A no-host cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m.

Call club manager Debbie Berndt, 378-5705, to attend.
