San Juan Island School District buses will run on snow routes this afternoon, Transportation Supervisor Terresa Sundstrom announced.

The school schedule has not changed.

A snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches was predicted today by the National Weather Service, with high temperatures in the lower to mid-30s and a north wind of 10 to 15 mph. Tonight, expected partly cloudy skies and isolated snow showers, with lows 18 to 25 and a north wind of 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday it will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 30s and a north wind of 10 to 20 mph.
