Huckleberry passed away in the loving care of her family, Maya, Sheryl and Andrew Bauer, on Feb. 17, 2009.

The family wrote:

"Thank you, Islanders Bank, the Post Office and Browne’s, for all the treats and attention. Thank you, Dr. Tess Leonard, Dr Sonja Webster, Suze Kellogg and all of our friends for your support.

"We will all miss her sweet and playful heart."
