A coin drive to help build a new community garden is under way.

Money raised will help pay for fencing, soil preparation, and a water catchment system. The Gardens at Ackley's Corner is located one mile past the airport and is open for anyone interested in growing organic vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs.

For more information about this project, garden preparation, or workshop opportunities on sustainable living practices, call 370-5780 or e-mail gardenfolks@gmail.com
