Dolores (Dee) May (Vickers) (Nash) Estell passed away Aug. 16, 2008 in Mount Vernon, Wash., from complications of a stroke. She was born May 31, 1930 in Helena, Mont. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Seattle. She married Carleton Edward Nash in 1950.

In 1980, she graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. degree. She was accomplished doll maker. In 1986, she married Loren “Dale” Estell.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Estell; children, Cindy Nash-Ortega, Diane (Doug) Nash-McFeron, David (Sandra) Nash, Paul (Bertha) Nash; grandchildren, Elise, Shira, Erin, Ian, Colin, Devin, Ramon, Karina, Travis, Erik, Larissa, Cindy, Alinson, Danielle; great-grandchildren, Daveonte, Carl, Paityn, Xander, Cooper; sisters, Lucille, Phyllis (Bob); and brothers, Lawrence (Marlene), and Bob.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, 1 p.m. at Hawthorne Memorial Park, 1825 E. College Way, Mount Vernon. Arrangements are under the care of Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon.
