Stuff you need to know about the county fair Aug. 13-16
Trashion Fashion Show rehearsal Monday
Designers and models in the Trashion Fashion Show must participate in the dress rehearsal Monday.
The show is Aug. 14, the second day of the fair.
Grab your glue-gun, sewing machine and paint and start collecting your reused, refused collectables and see what over-the-top, oh-so-sophisticated recycled fashion items you can come up with for this once-a-year highlight.
For rules, visit www.sanjuancountyfair.org or call 378-4310.
The event is produced by the county Solid Waste Advisory Committee and the Fair Board.
