Writers read from their works tonight at 6:30

Five local writers will read from their work tonight at 6:30 in the San Juan Island Library.

The event is free and open to the public.

The participating writers:

— Bill Carli, San Juan Island
— Shelle Cropper, San Juan Island
— Lorna Reese, Lopez Island
— Alie Smaalders, Lopez Island and featured artist
— Mike Vouri, San Juan Island and featured artist

"It's a wonderful mix of islands and styles and I hope to see you come and support our local writers," writer Susan Wingate said.
