Hospice grief support group begins early March

Hospice of San Juan is offering an eight-week Grief Support Group beginning in early March.

Facilitated by Lenore Bayuk, the grief support group will meet every Tuesday, March 4 to April 22, 4-5:30 p.m.

The program offers an opportunity to share experiences and acquire tools and resources for coping with grief. It is open to anyone who has experienced a significant loss, and prior hospice affiliation is not required.

Program support is provided by San Juan Island Community Foundation, the Women's Fund, United Way and by individual donations. A donation of $5-$25 per week is encouraged; however, sessions are open to all regardless of ability to pay.

Register by contacting Bayuk, (360) 378-3636, ext. 1; space is limited, early registration is advised.
