Frederick Prescott was born Sunday, Jan. 27 at Islands Hospital in Anacortes.

Frederick is the son of Friday Harbor's Terese Smith and Brian Prescott, and weighed in at eight pounds, 1.8 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches at birth — 10:47 p.m. on a Sunday night.  He joins brother Dexter, 9, and sister Margaret, 2 1/2, in the Prescott household.

Frederick is the grandson of Rick and Torrey Prescott, and Mary and Smithy Smith, all of Friday Harbor.
