Last chance 'Open House' at Sun Rise neighborhood

Are you curious about the homes in the Sun Rise neighborhood and what they have to offer? Well, here's your chance.
The San Juan Community Home Trust is presenting on Open House in the Sun Rise neighborhood, Saturday, Feb. 23, 3:30-4:30 p.m. The home on display will be Unit 9, which is currently unoccupied, but no for long. The Home Trust has a buyer for it.
In the meantime, potential homebuyers and community members can tour the home as part of Saturday's open house
The Home Trust will soon begin planning another phase of building, a neighborhood next to Sun Rise, and applications for a waiting list are being accepted. The Home Trust creates permanently affordable homes for islanders earning low to moderate-income by removing the cost of land from the cost of the home.
To date, the Home Trust has built the 14-home Sun Rise neighborhood, at 473 Grover Street, and the Salal neighborhood on Carter Avenue, which consists of 15 single-family homes.
