The colorful and vibrant creations of San Juan Island artist Cinda Sue Dow will be featured in a showing at Lavendera Massage, 285 Spring St., beginning Feb. 3.

The show, entitled “Contemporary Traditionalism”, runs through the end of the month. Dow will be on hand for the grand-opening, Feb. 8, beginning at 7 p.m.

Known for putting a contemporary twist on traditional subject matter, Dow’s paintings are done mostly in pastel, though she will occasionally craft a piece of art through the use of mixed media. View samples of her work at, www.cindasue.com. For more info, 378-3637, www.lavenderadayspa.com.
