'Dessert Night' featured at SJ Home Trust annual membership meeting

The 12th Annual Meeting of the San Juan Community Home Trust will be held at the San Juan Island Grange on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 6 p.m. The Home Trust invites all islanders to attend, enjoy desserts, celebrate a successful year - and win a door prize.

Lisa Byers, Executive Director of OPAL Community Land Trust on Orcas Island will talk about the "Roots of the CLT" and explain how the San Juan Community Home Trust is part of a growing national and international movement of home and land ownership, and where these ideas originated.
