Benefit account set up for Paul Mercer

A benefit account has been set up at Whidbey Island Bank by friends of Paul Mercer, who is recovering from a brain aneurysm. Mercer is affectionately known by friends and many islanders as, The Bug Guy.

Proceeds from the account, the Paul Mercer Donation Fund, will be used to help Mercer's medical expenses. To donate or to learn more, contact Whidbey Island Bank, (360) 370-5641, www.wibank.com.
