Rachel’s Challenge comes to Friday Harbor

Rachel’s Challenge, Wednesday, Feb. 8, offers a day of age appropriate school assemblies starting at 9:45 a.m. at Friday Harbor Elementary School, and at noon in the Friday Harbor Middle School Commons.
Local private school students can attend by calling Debbi at 378-9479.
A peer-to-peer training session, begins at 1:25 p.m. at the middle school.
If you attend the Community Dinner at 5:30 p.m. (details on page 16) there will be childcare at Lighthouse Preschool and Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church; drop off begins at 5:30 p.m., pick up is by 7:45 p.m.
Rachel’s Challenge “Community Evening Presentation” starts at 6:15 p.m. at the middle school and is geared for adults and teens.
These events are sponsored by San Juan Island Prevention Coalition, with donations from San Juan Island Community Foundation, Minor Reinforcement, and the elementary, middle and high school PTAs.
