Nakiya Scott, 7, was named the winner of the Twelve Days of Christmas and presented a gift basket full of crayons, paints, stickers, and more by Jan Murphy, administrative coordinator at Wolf Hollow on Jan. 7.

In December, Wolf Hollow partnered with the Chamber of Commerce to provide this holiday event. Twenty locals and visitors filled out questionnaires identifying what businesses had created what Twelve Days of Christmas displays — the answers were put in a box for the prize drawing — and Nakiya won.

She said her favorite display was the two turtle doves at Printronix.

The event’s goal was to raise awareness and funds for Wolf Hollow  — each participating business donated $100 to the wildlife and rehabilitation center.

“We think it was very well received,” said Murphy. “We hope to do it again next year.
