Students create community dinner at FHHS

December 1, 2011 · 8:53 AM

On Wednesday Dec. 7, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in Friday Harbor High School Commons, the Chef 1.0 student interns and the Food for Thought Program presents a community dinner featuring some local products, appetizers and dessert.

The menu includes cannelloni with house-smoked local salmon — from Matt’s Fresh Fish — stuffed inside pasta sheets from the San Juan Pasta Company.

The Baking Class will prepare Tiramisu Cheesecake.

Suggested dinner donation is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

Proceeds support the Chef 1.0 Student Internship, Food for Thought Lunch Program and Baking Class.
