For a special way to celebrate and give thanks, attend a good old-fashioned Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Grange, Nov. 24., 12 - 4 p.m.

“We have more volunteers than ever this year,” says Minnie Knych, one of the organizers.  “This year people started calling in early October to make sure they had a spot to participate in the dinner.”

It is the one day a year where everyone can join in the camaraderie of giving thanks for the blessings we have.

Enjoy a full Thanksgiving feast and then sit by the fire and watch a bowl game - or pick up some dirty dishes and do a turn at the sink.  Whatever makes you feel like you are part of the family of San Juan Island, you can find it here.
