Nature Institute marks 17 years

San Juan Nature Institute will celebrate 17 years of education and stewardship at the Mullis Center, 6 - 9 p.m., Oct. 15. “Naturalist of the Year” Megan Dethier of Friday Harbor Labs will be the guest speaker.

There will be food by Farhad Ghatan and music by Keith Busha. Tickets are $60 per person, $100 per couple for hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert and wine from Thurston Wolfe winery.

San Juan Nature Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing public understanding and appreciation of the unique natural history of the San Juan Archipelago.
