Attend The Whale Museum’s Pod Nods, a night of marine science adventure on Aug. 13.  These popular “pajama party” sleepovers in the museum for children ages six to 10 will be led by a museum educator with assistance from other adult professionals.  Youth participants will learn to value whales and their environment through art projects, science labs, music, games, and the traditional flashlight tour of the Exhibit Hall.

The Pod Nod begins at 6:30 p.m., with pick-up the next morning at 8:30 a.m.  A bedtime snack and light breakfast are included. The cost for each Pod Nod is $39 for children/grandchildren of Whale Museum members.  The cost for non-members is $49 per Pod Nod.  A limited number of scholarships are available.  Glow-in-the-dark orca t-shirts are available at a discounted cost of $15 to wear during the flashlight tour of the Exhibit Hall.  For more information, call 378-4710 extension 23 or email cindy@whalemuseum.org.  Pre-registration is required.
