If you missed his talks at the library you have another chance to meet local author and illustrator Bryn Barnard, who will be signing books on Saturday, May 28, 2 to 4 p.m., at Griffin Bay Books.

Barnard is the author and illustrator of “The Genius of Islam: How Muslims Made the Modern World,” “Outbreak: Plagues That Changed History” and “Dangerous Planet: Natural Disasters That Changed History.”

In his book, “The Genius of Islam: How Muslims Made the Modern World,”

Barnard uses short amounts of text and full color artwork to bring to life the contributions of Islam.
