Carrie A. Mcleish Joslin, a 1989 graduate of Friday Harbor High School, was promoted to Chief Warrant Officer 4 (CW4) on Friday, May 6, 2011. Lieutenant Colonel (LTC)
Tim Solie promoted Chief McLeish in a ceremony held at Fort Gordon, Ga., in the presence of her parents, Glen and Bobbie Gullickson, who are former residents of Friday Harbor, Wash.
McLeish was promoted to CW2 in Mosul, Iraq during a deployment with the 101st Airborne Air Assault during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
She is currently an instructor in the Army’s new 255S Information Protection Technician course at the Cyber College in Fort Gordon.
