Friends of Lori Holforty will celebrate her life on Sunday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m.. at South Beach.

Holforty, 46, of Friday Harbor, died Aug. 23 at home of pancreatic cancer.

She was born Jan. 8, 1964 to Dan and Jean Holforty in Huron, S.D. She graduated from Huron High School and the University of South Dakota. She enjoyed concerts, traveling, and visiting her nieces and nephews.

Her survivors include her parents, two sisters, two brothers, a grandmother, an aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, and special friend, Ian Shipley.
