San Juan Florist now carries La Vie en Rose

San Juan Florist is now carrying cakes, espresso, items made by local artisans, and photographs. Julie Shelton, owner since 1999, has wanted to do something different to complement her flowers. Now, when customers order flowers for someone special, they can also order a chocolate cake or even a slice of cake made by La Vie en Rose and Carlene’s Cakes.

San Juan Florist carries other chocolate baked goods and items are available daily. Seating is also available.

San Juan Florist offers free delivery to all businesses in town for espresso and is open late Friday and Saturday nights.

San Juan Florist is also featuring gift items, jewelry, and items made by local artisans, as well as Michael Bertrand’s photography.

Best Western wins company’s Director’s Award

Best Western Friday Harbor Suites has received the company’s Director’s Award for outstanding quality standards.

The Director’s Award recognizes Best Western International hotels that score in the top 20 percent of all 2,400 North American properties in cleanliness and maintenance.
