Introducing a new creative collective in the Town of Friday Harbor called “Sew On and Sew On.”

Cofounders Addie Miller and Claire Wright were brought together through their love of sewing, one thing led to another and now they share a beautiful studio at the Cannery Landing in downtown Friday Harbor.Claire Wright, shown right, of Cosecha Textiles is now offering tailoring, alterations, and custom sewing, as well as private and group sewing lessons, workshops, and one-of-a-kind utilitarian creations made from recycled materials. Though this is primarily a working studio, there is a lovely little ever-changing “pop-up” art space in the front where various local artists are featured. Please come say hi, have a look, and sign into our guestbook to get more frequent updates about upcoming events and workshops! Cosecha Textiles is open Monday-Saturday Noon to 7 p.m. or by appointment. Visit the website at www.CosechaTextiles.com.
