Dr. Turnage completes continuing education on use of bone maintenance drugs

Dr. Bo Turnage of Friday Harbor has completed continuing dental education at the University of Washington, Department of Oral Medicine, in the area of management of patients on bone maintenance drugs like Boniva (Bisphosphonates).
Special consideration is necessary in the treatment of Osteonecrosis (bone loss) in the jaw, especially, in women. This advanced education will enhance the ability to provide appropriate dental care for patients requiring procedures such as root canals and extractions.
Turnage's dental office is located at 180 First St., No. 9, Friday Harbor.
