Jacoba Porter has joined San Juan Property Management as the newest member of this vacation rental team.

Porter, who is an island native, joins the company from Island Group Sotheby’s International Realty. San Juan Property Management owner Travis Mager said Porter brings a strong, proven background in customer service, office administration and marketing implementation.

“With Jacoba’s support, we are positioning ourselves to increase our vacation rental business while maintaining our personal, hands-on approach with the properties we manage,” Mager said.

“We have continued to see steady growth since our inception in 2004 and despite the economic conditions we are expecting this growth to continue. Families are vacationing closer to home and the islands are appealing especially to those in the Seattle Metro areas. The 2010 Winter Olympics are fast approaching and we are gearing up to take advantage of touring spectators as well. Jacoba’s knowledge, skills and work ethic are just what we were looking for to help take us to the next level.”

San Juan Property Management is located at 232 A St. No. 4 in Friday Harbor. The phone number is 378-2070; visit www.sanjuanpm.com.
