A bocce ball court is being developed in front of the old kilns next to Quarryman Hall at Roche Harbor Village.

The court is expected to be completed by June, according to Pat Carver of the Roche Harbor Village staff.

In addition, construction has begun on an extension of the Lime Kiln Cafe. The expansion will result in the addition of several booths and tables, Carver said.

Restoration work is being done on part of the 85-year-old wharf building, near the restrooms and showers. Outdoor freezers have been removed and are being replaced by storage sheds.

Elsewhere in the village, five interpretive signs have been placed at sites of interest.
