Andy Holman joins his father and uncles as licensed professional land surveyors, having completed eight years of professional surveying experience and passed the Washington state professional land surveyor examination.

Holman began working for San Juan Surveying in 2007 as an apprentice to John Thalacker, who founded the company in 1972.

In addition to Thalacker, Holman worked at San Juan Surveying with surveyors Robert Wilson, Patrick Kirby, Jeff Iverson, and James McCormick.

A third-generation surveyor, he was introduced to the profession as a young boy by his father, Dave Holman. Holman has fond memories of tagging along in the field with his dad, and uncles, Dan and John Holman.

“Land Surveying is a perfect combination of analytical thinking both in the office and the field and the joy of working in nature,” Holman said.

Holman holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with concentration in finance and real estate, from Colorado State University.
