SJ Island architect Michael Tranfo earns international honor

San Juan Island architect Michael Tranfo has been awarded the designation of Chartered Architect by the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Tranfo, already a member of American Institute of Architects and a LEED Accredited Professional, joins only 352 other Americans holding this honor. He has been an architect for more than 30 years, designing homes and commercial structures in Alaska, Vermont, Washington state and elsewhere.
