Deadline extended: funds available for marine tech training

The San Juan County Economic Development Council is extending the deadline to apply for marine tech training  scholarship to Aug.10.

The scholarships, funded by a USDA grant, will cover full tuition for marine engine repair training, and for composite technology training and certification.  The training is geared toward recent graduates and for those looking to begin a new career – applicants must be over 18 years old.
