Calling all artists: sign up now for 'Brickworks' summer Art Market

March 20, 2012 · Updated 12:57 PM

The Friday Harbor Art Market will provide exhibition and performance space for local artists and musicians on Thursdays this summer.

Located on Brickworks Plaza, the art market runs June 14 to August 30, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Brickworks building was purchased by the San Juan County Agricultural Guild as a community center and to be home of a year-round farmers’ market and other indoor and outdoor events.

“We are excited to bring this event to the community and our visitors, providing yet another island experience in Friday Harbor,” said Pigman. The Farmers’ Market gets underway April 7 at Brickworks.

Artists should apply by April 16 to secure a spot. For information, guidelines and application forms, contact Art Market Coordinator Debbie Pigman, 360-472-0216, or dpigman1234@yahoo.com.
