Klein, chamber’s new president

Kevin Klein is the new President of the Board of Directors for the San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce. During his one year term, he hopes to advocate for the interests of business on all local issues, while taking into account what’s best for the island, its environment, and its resources long term.
“I would like to encourage all businesses on the island to join the chamber. Even those who might not seem to be directly affected, such as builders, subcontractors, tradespeople, and many others can benefit,” said Klein.
Klein is the manager for San Juan Propane, a long-time employee in the propane-delivery business and has been an avid angler since he was in kindergarten.
He also urges the community to consider volunteering at the chamber to help with tourist and customer service.
