Forum on the possibility of a Business Improvement District

The San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce hosts a forum to discuss the possibility of a Business Improvement District, on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 5:30 - 7 p.m. at Earthbox Motel and Spa, 410 Spring Street.

The forum will give business owners a chance to define goals, discuss general beautification, improved signs, more parking and better transportation.

The mission of the proposed Friday Harbor BID is to “preserve and provide a thriving and customer-friendly town of Friday Harbor by improving the attractiveness and effectiveness of the downtown area.”
